UFC is back after the one week break and it’s a little bittersweet because we’re going on break next week as well. After this weird one card in three weeks schedule we get the final stretch of the year started with two more banger pay-per views left. This week it’s not my favorite card but there’s some decent spots to exploit.
RANDY BROWN MORE 100.5 FANTASY SCORE-
Randy Brown is one of my favorite fighters to watch. Very well rounded fighter, good on the ground, very dangerous on the feet he’s a problem for any opponent in the welterweight division. He’s coming off a solid win over Khaos Williams, not his best fight but still showed his class. Facing the Brazilian legend Trinaldo who’s still beating the time versus Father Time is honestly Randy Brown’s fight to lose. He outstrikes Trinaldo on the feet by almost one and half significant strikes per minute with solid takedown defense on both sides. In a standing affair I can see Brown clearing his fantasy score easily.
SODIQ YUSUF MORE 100.5 FANTASY SCORE –
There’s levels to this and Yusuf is a -1100 favorite for a reason. Now I know he’s not the greatest finisher but he has the power to get lesser fighters out of there. I mean Yusuf is fighting Arnold Allen, Alex Caceres, Gabriel Benitez, meanwhile Shainis just fought the greatest loser of all time Jay Ellis (look him up). This is Yusuf’s fight to lose and he should get it done inside the distance.
RANDY COSTA LESS 6.5 FIGHT TIME-
BANGER ALERT BANGER ALERT! Fight of the night candidate these two fighters will just go for the finish from minute one till the end. This fight has doesn't go the distance written all over it. Randy Costa is an exciting prospect but his gas tank lets him down. Once someone survives the first round or really depending on how it’s going the first four minute barrage his cardio deteriorates immensely. Cannetti’s gas tank is the best either but he can hang a bit longer. Both these guys pack heat in their punches, both have questionable chins and their UFC finish rates in wins are one hundred percent and seventy seven percent respectively and in losses Randy Costa was finished one hundred percent while Cannetti is at eighty four percent.
JOAQUIM SILVA LESS 12.5 FIGHT TIME-
Honestly this fight could go either way but these guys are finishers in the UFC. Joaquim Silva has a fifty percent finish rate in the UFC and Ronson in his career is finishing 33% by sub and 48% by knockout. Silva was also finished in sixty seven percent of his losses in the UFC while Ronson is coming off a loss versus Rafa Silva where he delivered a career worst performance. Ronson will be the bigger guy here and I’m leaning towards him getting it done but either way I really like this fight not making it to the twelve minute mark.
