UFC Vegas 60 is set for this Saturday, September 17th 2022 in the Apex Center. The prelims start at 4pm est and the main card starts at 7pm est. Below you will find a few of my favorite plays on this DraftKings slate. Surprisingly there are numerous dogs that I really like which will help you get different on your entries.
Tony Gravely vs Javid Basharat
Banger banger banger. Gravely is a grappler and good on the mat. The boxing though is getting better. Javid is overall a good fighter. I like Javid who can get the better of Gravely in all formats. Javid is super underrated in the cage and can capitalize on a win, especially with his boxing skills. Javid will have to avoid the submission attempts from Gravely, but I think he can show off his skills in the cage. I like Javid to get the job done at a price tag of $8,600 where he can hit value.
Trevon Giles vs Louis Cosce
Cosce is the younger brother of Orion Cosce. The wrestling is great for Cosce but Giles is no pushover on the mat either. Giles is coming off of two losses and needs a win here badly. Cosce will be able to win this fight as a heavy underdog if he can keep the pace of this fight in his favor. My biggest question is where is Giles headspace coming off of two knockout losses? I know Cosce was knocked out last fight but it wasn't twice like Giles. Cosce can hang on the feet and try to kick the grappling to the next level. Cosce I think can win this fight and hit value at an $7,100 DraftKings price tag.
Anthony Hernandez vs Marc- Andre Barriault
Great fight! Both fighters are coming off a win and ready for war. Hernandez is coming off a great win. The cardio is great for Hernandez which is something you love to see. Barriault is known for his cardio and pushing the pace. The striking of Barriault is good and will try to work Hernandez. I like Barriault to pull off the upset and keep this fight in his favor just like he did last fight he had. Barriault can certainly get a finish and even possibly pull off the submission finish. The price tag on DraftKings of $7,500 is phenomenal.
Corey Sandhagen vs Yadong Song
The Main Event! This is a huge fight for Song to try to capitalize on to make his case on why he is one of the best in the division. Sandhagen is coming off of two losses and needs a win badly. Song is going to want to push the grappling because we know Sandhagen struggles there. Song has fought great fighters just like Sandhagen has in the past two fights. Song will try to push the pace in this fight and try to mentally break Sandhagen in this fight. I know Sandhagen is a big favorite and has a high price tag, but Song can certainly eclipse his DraftKings price tag. I want a better striker who can push the pace, quick on the feet, and earn a knockout win. I want all of Song at the $7,000 DraftKings price tag.
