Road To UFC Singapore: Semi-Finals Preview

It’s no secret that I loved “Road to UFC: Singapore”, the quarter finals of a tournament in which many fighters from across Asia fight for a UFC contract. There were many standout performances in the quarter finals and I am expecting some great fights when the semi...

UFC Vegas 61 FanDuel Breakdown

That week off was both brutal and refreshing, but we are back for the layover card that is UFC Vegas 61. This event takes place at the Apex Center, but is rumored to be privately rented out by Mark Zuckerburg and friends, so no media or fans will be allowed in the...

UFC Vegas 61 PrizePicks Breakdown

UFC is back after the one week break and it’s a little bittersweet because we’re going on break next week as well. After this weird one card in three weeks schedule we get the final stretch of the year started with two more banger pay-per views left. This week it’s...

We’re coming off a great UFC VEGAS 59 fight card that delivered both excitement and money in our bank accounts. Now we focus on a UFC SAN DIEGO card filled with rematches and rescheduled bouts. Prizepicks wise there’s actually a few spots that I really like let’s dive into them;

ODE OSBOURNE OVER 60.5 SIGNIFICANT STRIKES –

This will be an interesting fight to watch because Tyson Nam carries power but he’s very one dimensional relying too much on his power while Ode Osbourne also packs so power and grappling plus submission threat. Ode Osbourne has the volume advantage here landing almost five significant strikes per fight Nam on the other hand gets hit over five times per fight. Nam’s takedown defense is incredible at one hundred percent but Ode just having the grappling in his back pocket should work in his favor. Overall apart from a lucky shot by Nam it’s really Ode’s fight to lose.

CHITO VERA OVER 107.5 FANTASY SCORE –

If Chito wins a decision he’ll cover this number, if Chito gets a finish he’ll cover this fantasy score. In the biggest of his career I expect Vera to come in here even more ultra focused than usual and really put on a show versus Dom Cruz, a former champion of this division. Cruz is no walkover like I said earlier he’s a former champ of this division twice, injuries have derailed his career somewhat, he’s hard to hit boasting a sixty six percent striking defense and his takedown defense is eighty three percent. This fight has a passing of the torch feel, it’s Chito’s time to shine!

JOSH QUINLAN OVER 95.5 FANTASY SCORE-

Josh “TRT’ Quinlan is back after not being able to fight in Nevada last week. This fight will be at a catchweight of 180 pounds which could actually help out Jason Witt’s chin. But let’s be honest, a strong gust of wind could knock out Witt. Quinlan carries a lot of power, which is Witt’s worst nightmare in a first or second finish he’ll cover easily. Witt has solid wrestling and grinding fight style the longer this fight goes it could favor Witt but with his glass chin it’s only a matter of time.

AZAMAT MURZAKANOV OVER 84.5 FANTASY SCORE-

I don’t rate Devin Clark as a fighter to be honest, he’s not. I just don’t really think he’s as good as some may hype him up to be. Murzakanov on the other hand looked really good on the regional scene and on contender series but he faced a lot of adversity in his UFC debut versus Tafon. Murzakanov passed the heart test in the fight coming back to win by a gorgeous flying knee. Number’s don’t honestly tell the story for this one because I don’t see Clark out striking Azamat or even out wrestling him here. Overall skill for skill it’s Murzakanov’s fight to lose.
