Road To UFC Singapore: Semi-Finals Preview

It’s no secret that I loved “Road to UFC: Singapore”, the quarter finals of a tournament in which many fighters from across Asia fight for a UFC contract. There were many standout performances in the quarter finals and I am expecting some great fights when the semi...

UFC Vegas 61 FanDuel Breakdown

That week off was both brutal and refreshing, but we are back for the layover card that is UFC Vegas 61. This event takes place at the Apex Center, but is rumored to be privately rented out by Mark Zuckerburg and friends, so no media or fans will be allowed in the...

UFC Vegas 61 PrizePicks Breakdown

UFC is back after the one week break and it’s a little bittersweet because we’re going on break next week as well. After this weird one card in three weeks schedule we get the final stretch of the year started with two more banger pay-per views left. This week it’s...

AND WE’RE BACK, after surviving the week off we got UFC Paris ahead of us. Gane is on a road to redemption looking to get back at Ngannou while Tai Tuivasa arguably has never been hotter in his career packing win after win. Co-main we got Vettori vs Whittaker which could have title implications depending on the middleweight championship fight. The rest of the card is a bit underwhelming and honestly I’m looking at a lot of unders/less;

HAQPARAST LESS 81.5 FANTASY SCORE-

This is somewhat the battle of the failed prospects here. Haqparast had a solid start to his UFC career till getting knocked out cold vs Heinisch. Ever since that fight he hasn’t looked nearly as impressive even getting dominated in a few fights. Makdessi on the other hand has been a solid vet that tends to lose when he takes a step up especially if his opponent has decent wrestling chops. Neither of these guys are coming to wrestle and in a stand up affair, Makdessi will make these one dicey for Haqparast he throws north of five significant strikes per minute and Haqparast absorbs over four significant strikes per minute. Makdessi has a real chance at stealing this one.

BENOIT SAINT DENNIS MORE 97.5 FANTASY SCORE

This is a setup fight for Saint Dennis, in his home country, to get him another win in front of the home crowd. Saint Dennis is a good fantasy scorer in general, going over even in losses facing a guy making his UFC debut in a foreign territory. This will be a tall task for Miranda octagon jitters are a real thing plus he’s been fighting cans most of his career very one dimensional. This is Saint Denis’ fight to lose.

CHARLES JOURDAIN OVER 78.5 FANTASY SCORE-

FIGHT OF THE NIGHT CANDIDATE AND IT’S CRAZY THIS FIGHT ISN’T ON THE MAIN CARD. Fight of the year won’t be exaggerating, Jourdain and Wood will bring the fight to each for however long it lasts. Jourdain honestly has fought the better competition, has the better gas tank,  better striking, Wood might have better wrestling chops but Jourdain can hold his own on the ground. Wood can’t be underestimated but Jourdain has him covered.

IMAVOV OVER 10 MINS FIGHT TIME-

This one is scary but I do believe this fight will see the third round. Both fighters pack power and are very dangerous strikers but at times will get caught playing it safe to avoid making mistakes. Imavov went to a decision with chiny Phil Hawes but also has a solid chin, making him able to eat what Buckley throws at him. Not my most confident pick but definitely can see it happening.

LEANS

  • Imavov more 1 takedowns

Another pay per-view is upon us, Usman vs Edwards the rematch seven years in the making. The card overall is terrible but it’s not great either. Tyson Pedro returns for his second fight in 2022 vs the legend Hunsucker, Merab vs Aldo should be fun and who doesn’t love...
