The first true super fight of the year is here! Makhachev versus Volkanovski will be a banger and the card overall is catching flake but there’s so sleepers. I expect lots of finishes this Saturday, Tyson Pedro vs Modestas should not make it to the judges scorecards, Mullarkey vs Prado even Tukhugov has a chance to win inside the distance. Last week we went 5-1 on props. Let's continue the momentum. There’s some good props on the board here are they ones that stick out;

ZUBAIRA TUKHUGOV LESS 14.75 FIGHT TIME-

Zubaira Tukhugov is the curtain jerker this week in a matchup versus short notice opponent Elves Brenner. This is a significant step down In competition for Zubaira who normally fights the best in this division. He’ll have the striking and grappling advantage here if chooses to go that route. Tukhugov carries power in both hands even though Brenner hasn’t been finished in his career, the level of opponents are just different. Also another thing to note is Brenner is coming to Australia all the way from Brazil, adjusting could be an issue. 

LOMA LOOKBOONME MORE 80.5 FANTASY SCORE- 

Betting on women’s MMA is mostly not black and white but this matchup is as black and white as it could get. Loma Lookboonme is a better fighter than Elise Reed period, she should handle business wherever this fight ends up. Loma lands a little over four significant strikes per minute, outstriking Reed by almost two significant strikes per minute. If Loma wrestles he lands almost two takedowns per fight with a seventy- four percent accuracy meanwhile Reed’s takedown defense is only fifty percent. I expect Loma to win inside the distance via ground and pound.

JAMIE MULLARKEY MORE 1.5 TAKEDOWNS-

Jamie Mullarkey is never the easiest guy to bet on. I fully expect this fight to not see the judges scorecards but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did. Mullarkey has an advantage on the ground averaging two and half takedowns per fight at an awful thirty percent accuracy. He’s the type to chain wrestle and has the cardio to constantly do it. We just need him to fight smart here. 

JUSTIN TAFA LESS 53.5 SIGNIFICANT STRIKES- 

We’re 3-1 this year on these props once again here’s a big power puncher at a high line. The edge is massive here in my opinion, Parker Porter is not eating more than fifty four significant strikes from Tafa. On the flip side if the fight goes Porter’s way Tafa won’t sniff that number Porter’s going to take him down and at the least control him for a whole round. It’s a sloppy heavyweight fight anything can happen but I’m confident on this one.
