UFC Vegas 67 was a decent one picks wise only missing the Soriano pick, now we have fifteen fight pay per view in Brazil. This card is pretty solid from an entertainment standpoint, lots of finishes are expected. The highlight of the card for me is the flyweight championship quadrilogy fight between Figueiredo versus Moreno easily could be the fight of the night. The PrizePicks board is very enticing let's dive into it;
SAIMON OLIVEIRA LESS 88.5 FANTASY SCORE-
Not a bad curtain jerker to start the pay per view, we got local Brazilian talent Saimon Oliveira taking on Peruvian Daniel Marcos. This will be a competitive bout I expect to largely play out on the feet which favors the underdog Marcos, his boxing way more crisp plus he throws very solid leg kicks. Oliveira on the other hand would love this fight on the mat but he just doesn’t have the wrestling to get it there. Marcos just has more ways to win this matchup than Oliveira hence the under on fantasy score pick.
JOISANE NUNES LESS 52.5 SIGNIFICANT STRIKES-
Just like Razak last week I’d be very shocked if Nunes eclipses this mark in this matchup. Zarah Fairn is bad and not UFC caliber, honestly she’s being brought in here to lose as they continue to “promote” Nunes. The division needs fighters to challenge the champion and it doesn’t take much to get a title shot. Nunes is the better fighter anywhere this fight goes she’s undersized but very powerful for the weight class. I just don’t see Zarah eating fifty three strikes from Nunes and still keep going plus her grappling is non-existent, one takedown this could be over easily.
GABRIEL BONFIM MORE 10 MINUTES FIGHT TIME-
Bonfim will be matching his debut vs Mounir Lazzez this Saturday in a sneaky good matchup. Both these guys are good kickboxers that will stand and trade in the middle of the octagon. Bonfim is the hometown here which could play a factor if we get to the judges scorecards, he looked good on Dana White’s Contender Series earning him a UFC contract. Lazzez on the other side was introduced to us during the pandemic at Fight Island where he beat UFC vet Razak Alhassan then went on to lose via brutal liver kicks to Warlley Alves (also on this card) and beat Ange Loosa by decision. Lazzez is the more experienced in the Octagon but Bonfim is no slouch. I expect this fight to go the whole fifteen minutes in a close split that could go either way.
CODY STAMANN MORE 2.5 TAKEDOWNS-
The decision machine Cody Stamann is back in a somewhat interesting match versus Luan Lacerda. This matchup will mostly play out on the mat I believe because Luan loves to play jiu-jitsu while Cody is a very good wrestler plus he can hold his own on the ground as well. Luan loving to play jiu-jitsu will lead to easy takedowns for Stamann who averages almost three takedowns per fight with a forty two percent accuracy.
