Road To UFC Singapore: Semi-Finals Preview

It’s no secret that I loved “Road to UFC: Singapore”, the quarter finals of a tournament in which many fighters from across Asia fight for a UFC contract. There were many standout performances in the quarter finals and I am expecting some great fights when the semi...

UFC Vegas 61 FanDuel Breakdown

That week off was both brutal and refreshing, but we are back for the layover card that is UFC Vegas 61. This event takes place at the Apex Center, but is rumored to be privately rented out by Mark Zuckerburg and friends, so no media or fans will be allowed in the...

UFC Vegas 61 PrizePicks Breakdown

UFC is back after the one week break and it’s a little bittersweet because we’re going on break next week as well. After this weird one card in three weeks schedule we get the final stretch of the year started with two more banger pay-per views left. This week it’s...

UFC PARIS delivered on the entertainment side of things, since we didn’t necessarily rate that card too high. The prelims gave us exciting finishes, none more exciting than the knockout Abus Magomedov delivered vs Stoltzfus. Cyril Gane handled his business after surprisingly getting rocked by Tuivasa but his durability held up. This week’s pay-per-view feels like a throw away UFC Apex event with very few matchups to get excited for. The main event is basically another setup fight for Chimaev, The Leach vs Tony will be a fun one, and Holland vs Daniel Rodriguez will be a banger.  Prizepicks we went three out five not bad this week should be another solid one, there’s some pretty good edge on the board.

JAILTON ALMEIDA MORE 116.5 FANTASY SCORE-

This guy is the future of the heavyweight division. I know that’s a bold claim but he’s backed it up so far. He reminds me of the headliner Chimaev when he debuted in the UFC buzzing through all his opponents. Now you can argue he hasn’t fought anyone yet but he has barely any control over that. His opponent is taking this fight on short notice, he’s not UFC level this fight is just another showcase spot for Jailton. Almeida averages over three significant strikes per min and six takedowns per fight with a sixty six percent accuracy plus two submission attempts per fifteen. Jailton can go over in a decision win.

HAKEEM DAWODU MORE 89.5 FANTASY SCORE –

This fight has sneaky upside to be a banger potentially stealing the show and fight of the night honors. Julian “Juicy J’ Erosa is never in a boring fight whether he wins or loses. Dawodu on the other hand is one of the more exciting prospects in the featherweight division, great striking plus solid takedown defense. I like Dawodu a lot here especially if it’s the Dawodu that fought Trizano he’s washing Erosa in round one, the volume and confidence were there. Fighting Erosa he can’t take rounds off because Erosa goes at a crazy pace averaging over six significant strikes landed per min but also absorbs six significant strikes per minute as well. Dawodu averages over five significant strikes per minute and the main factor which made me pick him is the power difference Erosa’s glass chin can’t handle Dawodu’s power.

KEVIN HOLLAND MORE 50.5 SIGNIFICANT STRIKES-

One of the fights I’m looking forward to the most on this card, I just don’t get this line. Both these guys can grapple but they have no interest too unless needed. They will stand in the pocket and trade until one man falls over or the fifteen minutes are up. Kevin Holland lands four significant strikes per minute but these numbers are heavily affected by a couple fights where he was taken down repeatedly while Daniel Rodriguez absorbs over five significant strikes per minute. Kevin in a stand up affair will hit this line in two rounds.

KHAMZAT CHIMAEV MORE 123.5 FANTASY SCORE-

There’s not much to say about this one other than the UFC had the perfect victim for Chimaev to feed on. Nate Diaz has literally already accepted defeat not preparing for the fight properly. Chimaev would literally beat Nate to a pulp here.
