Core 4 Daily Fantasy Breakdown For UFC 283 Hill vs Teixeira

This week we are headed to the Jeunesse Area in Rio De Janeiro and we have a great DraftKings slate to look through! First, before we get into the plays, let's make sure we have the event details locked in so we don't miss out on any of the action. This event is taking place Saturday 21st, 2023 at the Apex in Las Vegas. The prelims will kick things off at 8pm eastern followed by the main card at 10pm eastern. Here are the core plays that I plan to use with my DraftKings lineups;

Saimon Oliveira vs Daniel Marcos

The first fight of the night! Saimon is coming in as the favorite. Marcos has a decent striking but the takedown defense is what worries me. Saimon is a good grappler and he will shoot for the submission a ton. Marcos can on the opposite side shoot for the takedowns and can out grapple Marcos. That is the key point for me. I am liking Marcos here in the first fight as an underdog. I know it is risky but I am taking a huge chance with a core pick in the first fight! Marcos is too cheap kicking off at $7,600 DraftKings price tag.

Terrance McKinney vs Ismael Bonfim

McKinney was the name to talk about last year and had massive wins. McKinney has power and the fans love him with his finishing style. McKinney is the favorite coming into this fight. Bonfim is good on the ground and has good takedown defense. McKinney is going to come aggressive and look for a finish quickly. I am liking McKinney, who is a dangerous fighter and will throw bombs. I am hoping for fireworks as my second pick with a quick DraftKings score. I am loving McKinney coming in at $8,500 DraftKings price tag.

Gregory Rodrigues vs Brunno Ferreira

Ferreira is coming in on short notice and making his UFC debut. Ferreira has won his fights in quick fashion and the striking has looked good. Rodrigues is also good on the feet and has amazing grappling. I don't think Ferreira can take down Rodrigues which is why I am loving Rodrigues. Gregory can earn this win with ease and push Brunno rather quickly. I am not understanding why Rodrigues is priced so low in the $9,000 DraftKings price tag range. The avenue for Rodrigues to win this fight in quick fashion is amazing at the $9,100 DraftKings price tag. 

Jamahal Hill vs Glover Teixeira

The main event title fight! Glover is coming up in the age column and has looked good in every single fight despite him being 43 years old. Hill is the favorite here. Glover has great striking and good on-the-ground games too. I know the age is there but Glover is looking great at his age. Glover is always an underdog and comes through so I think he can win this here. Glover is just going to have to avoid the powerful striking of Hill. I don't see Glover getting knocked out, which that's Hill's main move. I am taking the old man Glover here to win this and the price tag of $7,800 on DraftKings is too cheap!
