I am a notorious Fluffy hater. Actually hater isn't the right word, I'm more of a fluffy underestimater. I never really give him full credit for his skills and what he can do. I typically chalk it up to a mistake his opponents make or favorable matchmaking. But his win over Michel Pereira was wildly impressive. Both the skills and gas tank. If he can push that pace with that much wrestling against Pereira, I imagine he can as well against Brendan Allen. Brendan is definitely good and his loss to Imavov looks better now than ever, but the Hernandez cardio is just different and I think the pace will matter here even though it is only 3 rounds.
Brendan Allen
Brendan Allen is a BJJ black belt with solid low kicks, solid takedowns and solid striking overall. He has had a nice evolution in the octagon where he evolved from primarily a grappler to a well rounded MMA fighter. He seems to have to have more confidence than ever and it has showed. He just snapped a 6 fight win streak with a decision loss to Nassourdine Imavov where he had a great takedown early, but the success stopped there.
Anthony Hernandez
Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez is a very good grappler who is averaging almost 7 takedowns per fight. He has solid wrestling with real entries, he's a BJJ blackbelt and although he is willing to strike, that is not his path to victory. He has incredible cardio and has quetly put together a 6 fight win streak. He is coming off the main event win over Michel Pereira where he 6x the strikes and got 10 takedowns.
